Below is an overview of current vacancies.
We are always on the lookout for passionate individuals who want to contribute their skills and expertise to our mission. If you don't see a role that matches your background, we still encourage you to reach out—there may be other ways you can get involved and make a difference!
1. Insights Hub Manager
We’ve built a growing repository of global best practices, research, campaigns, and case studies on running safety and related issues, and we’re looking for someone to help us bring this resource over the finish line, launch it, and keep it up to date. This role is perfect for someone who loves to research, organize information, and stay current on issues related to gender, safety, and running. Experience with Squarespace (or enthusiasm to learn) is helpful.
2. Data Analyst
Help us turn data into action. Run Her Way gathers insights from community surveys, focus groups, safety check-ins, and route audits across cities. We’re looking for a volunteer to help analyze this data, generate clear and visual reports, and support our storytelling and advocacy work with data-driven insights.
3. Marketing & Engagement Volunteer
Help us connect with our growing community through thoughtful and creative email communication. You’ll support the planning, writing, and design of newsletters and project updates that share our mission, activities, and impact with runners, partners, and supporters. You’ll also collaborate with our social media team to align messaging and cross-promote stories and events across platforms. Experience with Mailchimp is a plus, along with a knack for clear, engaging storytelling and visual communication. Familiarity with Canva or a willingness to learn is welcome.
4. Program Design & Impact VOLUNTEER
Help shape how we design, measure, and scale our work. You’ll support the development of toolkits, frameworks, and monitoring & evaluation systems that strengthen our city projects and partnerships. This role involves organizing our learnings, defining impact metrics, and helping to translate our model into resources that can be shared and replicated in other cities. Ideal for someone with experience or interest in social impact or program development.
All roles are voluntary with a flexible commitment, but ideally a few hours a week for a minimum of six months. We aim to make our volunteer experiences enriching and meaningful - a chance to contribute your skills, learn from others, and be part of a growing movement to make running safer for women and girls.
